Why W8MD does not routinely prescribe it
A medication that has not received FDA approval cannot be prescribed as an approved commercial treatment. W8MD does not sell or prescribe products labeled “for research use only,” nor does it treat an online chemical vendor as a substitute for an authorized clinical trial or regulated pharmacy.
Clinical trials are different from online sales
Authorized study
Uses a defined protocol, informed consent, eligibility criteria, oversight and systematic adverse-event monitoring.
Routine care
Uses legally available treatments after individual assessment and current prescribing information review.
Research-product sale
Does not become legitimate clinical care merely because a seller supplies a vial, certificate or dosing suggestion.
Approved options available now
Depending on eligibility, W8MD can discuss FDA-approved treatments such as Wegovy injection or tablets, Wegovy HD, Zepbound, Foundayo/orforglipron, Saxenda, Qsymia, Contrave or orlistat, as well as selected traditional prescriptions. The right option depends on medical conditions, interactions, preferences, coverage and cost.

How W8MD can help
W8MD can explain the difference between promising research and currently available care, review whether a clinical trial is listed through legitimate channels, and help select an approved alternative while future evidence develops. W8MD does not guarantee trial eligibility or future approval.
